  Sara Irene McBee, 86, of Uvalde died on Feb. 21, 2014, at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde. She was born on Dec. 13, 1927, in Marble Falls and Llano County to Eula Mae Moore and Jack Ezell Moss. She married William Glen McBee on Aug. 30, 1947, in Brackettville and they spent their wedding night in the Kincaid Hotel in Uvalde. In early years of her life the Moss family ranched on land on the West Prong of the Nueces River in Kinney County. She and her husband lived in Del Rio for many years and owned a business there. Later they moved to Fredericksburg and lived there for a number of years before settling in Uvalde. She is survived by one sister, Doris Herndon and husband, Elmer B., of Uvalde. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Jack Moore Moss
