      Carlean Brown Tucker, 74, of Siler City passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Universal Health Care of Ramseur.

      Mrs. Tucker was born in Chatham County on May 30, 1947, the daughter of Troy H. and Minnie "Polly" Smith Brown.

      Carlene was a member of the Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church. She spent her life caring for her family and enjoyed spending her free time crocheting. Carlene adored her family, especially her great grandson. She loved her collection of teddy bears.

      In addition to her parents, Carlene is preceded in death by her husband, James Edsel Tucker.

      he is survived by her daughter, Karen McDaniel and husband Johnny of Liberty; sisters, Mary Swaim of Siler City, Nancy Dunlap of Bonlee, Alice Beavers of Siler City, and Barbara Cheek of Bennett; brother, Rev. Troy E. Brown of Siler City; grandson, Christopher Boyd of Asheboro; and great grandson, James Lynn Boyd.

      A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Chatham Memorial Park, 13260 Hwy 64 West, Siler City with Rev. Troy Edward Brown officiating.
