  Was killed by an explosion at a quarry by a 150lb rock. Never lived in the US https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/186485593/harvey-bourque Kentville, Oct. 14--Struck by a stone hurled by a dynamite blast 650 feet from where he was standing, Harvey Bourque of D'Escousse, Cape Breton, was injured so badly that he died in the Wolfville hospital tonight. The accident occurred this afternoon at the Avon River Power Company's development at Forest Home. Bourque had his back turned toward the impending blast and did not see the single stone that was hurled in his way when the explosion went off. It struck him square in the back hurling him a distance of 15 feet from where he was standing. At first it was not thought that Bourque was seriously injured, although he was unconscious for a short time. Called to the scene of the accident, Dr. V.D. Schaffner of Kentville, ordered the injured man removed to the hospital in Wolfville where he was given a thorough examination. His condition appeared satisfactory until later in the evening when he took a bad turn and passed away about 9:30 o'clock. It is believed his spine was fractured by the blow. An inquest into Bourque's death will be held today.
