BILLERICA -- Shirley A. (Maginn) Ambrose, age 58, died Saturday, at her home surrounded by her children, sisters, and loving companion of 20 years, Robert Gentile of Billerica.
She was born in Somerville, July 6, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Burke) Maginn, and lived in Billerica for most of her life.
Ms. Ambrose was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley for 25 years. An avid traveler, she loved Disney World and being in Key West, Florida. She spent many weekends camping at Salisbury beach and traveled the East Coast in the R.V. with Rob by her side. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Steven Ambrose and his girlfriend, Jennifer Burgoyne of Billerica; her daughters, Kelly Ambrose and her boyfriend, Brandon Nicholas of Billerica, and Kathleen Howarth and her husband, Ryan of Chelmsford; her sisters, Robin Maginn of ME, Carol Viola of Shrewsbury, and Lisa Fitzgerald and her husband, Kevin of Billerica; five grandchildren, Ryan Nicholas and Jayson, Kaydence, Jayda and Nathan Howarth; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
