Hilbert E. Mielke of Seguin, TX, passed away August 12, 2004 at the age of 82. Hilbert, known as "Mielke'' at the Alamo Iron Works sales counter for 35 years, also known as "Dickie'' to countless friends and family, and best known as "OPA'' to his closest circle of treasured family. Although proud to have worked at AIW for 35 years, to have served his country in WWII, his greatest pride was his daughter, Donna, "son'' James and four precious grandchildren. Hilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Mielke; parents, Henry and Meta Mielke; brother, Hilmer Mielke; special friend, Rose Gabrysch. Hilbert is survived by his daughter, Donna Greco and husband James; sister, Adelyn Brinkkoeter; grandchildren, James Greco, Jacquelynn Greco, Jessica Greco and Anne Greco; nephews, Gerald Brinkkoeter and family, Sidney Mielke; niece, Kristy Mielke Crosby and numerous friends
