Notes - In the latter part of the 16th Century, one Rev. Thomas Foster, a descendant of the Bramborough Castle branch of the Fosters, lived in Ipswich and Biddenham ENG. Records show he had houses in the parishes of St Mary and St Matthew, Ipswich, Suffolk County. His will, dated 21 Sep in the 12th "yeare of the raigne of our Sovereign Loard Charles by Grace of God King of England, Scotland, France and Ireland, king defender of the faith de Annogue dui 1638." The will was proved on 5 Dec 1638.
