West Pubnico: Mrs. Annie V. d?Entremont, widow of the late Theodore d?Entremont, died suddenly Wednesday morning, August 15th, at the age of 93. For some years, Mrs. d?Entremont had been staying at Villa St. Joseph in the winter, and in the summer she would return to her house here, her daughter, Annette coming from the States to stay with her. Living close to the church, she often went to Mass on weekdays, and it was when she entered the church on Wednesday morning to attend Mass that she died.

Mrs. d?Entremont was the last survivor of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Michel d?Eon. She was the wife of Theodore d?Entremont who died in 1936.

She leaves in mourning four daughters and three sons: Mrs. Lorette Surette of Everett, Mass.; Annette who also lived in Everett; Mrs. Albert d?Eon (Esther) and Mrs. Effie d?Entremont of this village; Liboise of East Boston; Albert of Halifax; and Marcel of Dartmouth.

The entire family was present at the funeral which was held Friday afternoon at 4:00 in St. Pierre Church. Father Frederic Poitras celebrated the Mass, assisted by our parish priest, Father Gerald LeBlanc. Mr. Remi LeBlanc read the epistle. The pallbearers were Bennie Amirault, Andrew T. d?Entremont, Andrew Surette, Billy d?Eon, Harvey d?Eon and Alban d?Entremont. There was a large attendance.
